October 7th marks the 117th anniversary of the founding of Casa Militar, an institution that has supported the Office of the President since 1909 and whose primary responsibilities include ensuring the President’s security.

Reporting to the Office of the President, the Casa Militar is responsible for presidential security, planning and coordinating travel, organizing the logistics of official events, and coordinating with the various security forces involved in these operations.

Throughout its 117-year history, the members of the Casa Militar have carried out their duties with professionalism, commitment, and discretion in the service of the Office of the President.

On this anniversary, the Casa Rosada salutes the members of the Casa Militar and recognizes the work they perform daily in fulfilling their institutional responsibilities.
