Today marks the 32nd anniversary of the terrorist attack against the Argentine Israeli Mutual Association (AMIA), which occurred in 1994 when a car bomb destroyed the organization’s headquarters located at 633 Pasteur Street in the City of Buenos Aires.

The attack, carried out at 9:53 a.m., left 85 people dead and more than 300 injured, making it the worst terrorist attack ever committed on Argentine soil. 

At this year’s main commemoration ceremony, the chosen theme was “Today we must not lose our memory,” a message that renews the commitment to keep the memory of the victims alive and to uphold the ongoing demand for truth and justice. More than three decades after that attack, the demand that those responsible—both the perpetrators and the masterminds—be tried and convicted remains as strong as ever.

 On this anniversary, we pay tribute to the victims and stand with their families, reaffirming our commitment to memory, truth, justice, and the fight against impunity.
