The Secretary-General of the Presidency, Karina Milei, accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni; the Chairman of YPF, Horacio Marín; and the Head of the Investment Agency, Diego Sucalesca; visited Vaca Muerta, where she led a programme of activities that included the presentation of the ‘Marca País Argentina’ certificate to YPF.

The distinction recognises YPF as a key player in the international promotion of the country’s productive identity, based on its track record, the scale of its production and its strategic role in the country’s economic development.

The Argentina Country Brand is a tool that enhances the country’s international institutional image, boosts exports of goods and services, helps attract investment and tourism, and promotes Argentine talent in global markets.

During the visit, the officials toured a drilling rig and a pad of producing wells at Loma Campana, one of the world’s leading energy hubs, where they were able to observe how field operations are optimised from the RTICs in Buenos Aires and Neuquén, against a backdrop of growing export momentum in the Argentine energy sector.
