On October 7th, 2022, the terrorist group Hamas carried out a brutal attack against the people of Israel, resulting in the murder, rape, and kidnapping of Israeli civilians and other nationalities, including Argentine citizens.

In the early hours of the morning, Hamas terrorists bypassed the border crossings of the Gaza Strip and entered Israeli territory, mercilessly attacking residents of nearby kibbutzim and thousands of young people participating in a music festival for peace and coexistence.

The massacre perpetrated by Hamas was not only an attack against Israel: it was an attack against humanity as a whole.

The Argentine government, which recognizes Hamas as an international terrorist organization, immediately expressed its strongest condemnation of these barbaric acts and reaffirmed its commitment to defending life, peace, and coexistence among peoples.

Today, two years after those events, we remember all the victims and renew our call for the immediate release of the hostages who remain in captivity in Gaza, including four Argentine citizens.
