President inaugurated a new industrial school

During her visit to Las Heras, President Cristina Fernández inaugurated industrial school N°7 where she handed over 1535 personal computers to students of public schools.

President Cristina Fernandez headed today the ceremony for the inauguration of a cultural centre financed by YPF, an oil company owned by the State since it was founded in 1922, until it was privatized in the nineties. The Government is now endeavouring to increase Argentine participation in the company, whose majority shares are still in the hands of Spain's Repsol.

 

 

 
The President addressed an Industry Day luncheon organized by CAME, an organization of medium and small businessmen.

Cristina Fernández commented that during the last six years, Argentine industry grew by 9.3%, above the 8.5% general level of the economy.
